		General Membership Meetings Attention !!! Here are the dates for our General Membership meetings. General membership meetings are held for current LC BIG members only. General Membership meeting is scheduled on Tuesday, May 11th at 12:00 PM in LM-139. We need your voice and participation - Please Attend. We are growing and making a difference. Come join us and make the BIG commitment! New members are welcome to join! Thank You. Interpreting services (American sign language, contact signing, oral and/or tactile) will be provided if requested five business days in advance of the event. In accordance with our by-laws, general membership meetings are generally scheduled as needed. However, due to space availability or conflicting matters, general membership meetings are subject to cancellation or postponement to a different date, time and/or location. Whenever possible, we will attempt to post and provide notice of all such meetings at least one week in advance. Therefore, please bookmark and check this page often for any changes or updates to scheduled meetings. General membership meetings are held for the purpose of sharing information with you, our members, and providing updates on what is currently occurring regarding issues that effect us in the workplace. Our agenda regularly includes detailed reports from our president, treasurer and the various committee chairpersons. The committee chairpersons reports will allow you to know what currently planned activities and events are in progress, and may provide you with an opportunity to help or become involved in those planned activities. We also provide regular updates on what is currently happening with the status of the long-standing Cook case during this very critical period of its implementation and evaluation phase. Membership meetings also provide a regular opportunity for you, the members, to interface and participate with the Executive Board members in a democratic manner and express any concerns you may have, and help provide us with feedback and exchange of information which you feel is important and beneficial to discuss. As always, we need and want your voice and participation at these meetings. New members are always welcome to join, so please attend regularly and when possible, please bring or invite a friend to attend and also join us.
